About the Book

The ‘Wig and the Streets’ is a collection of short stories that takes the reader on a relatable Nigerian journey traversing different times and places. At the heart of each story is a young lawyer gliding down the slippery slope of survival and dealing with the grim realities of being a new wig. The book employs a lot of humour and suspense while exploring the familiar, yet untold stories of junior lawyers practicing law in Nigeria. Though a work of fiction, it attempts a conversation on the unfair working conditions new wigs in Nigeria are subjected to.
